What you study
Every course belongs to one of these disciplines and is taught in one language.
- Tajweed
- Reading the Qur'an as it was revealed: the letters, where they are pronounced, and the rules of recitation.
- Aqeedah
- What a Muslim believes and why, set out plainly from the sources.
- Fiqh
- Purification, prayer, fasting, zakat and hajj, each taught with its evidence.
- Arabic
- The language of the sources, from the alphabet to reading a classical text.
- Seerah
- The life of the Prophet, peace be upon him, from Makkah to Madinah.
- Hadith
- How a report reaches us, how it is graded, and how it is understood.

What a course asks of you
Watch
Each lesson opens with a video. The next lesson unlocks only once you have watched this one through.
Answer
A short quiz checks what you took in. Each question is all or nothing, and your best attempt is the one that counts.
Hand in
Some lessons set a practical assignment. A reviewer reads your work and accepts it, or returns it with a note.
Finish
When every lesson is complete, your certificate is issued, with a serial number and a QR code.
On completion
A certificate anyone can check
Every certificate carries a serial number and a QR code. Whoever you show it to can open the verification page and see that it is real, who it was issued to, and for which course.
About the academy
Kanz Academy
Kanz Academy teaches the Islamic sciences online to students who want to study properly: in order, and with someone checking their work. Teachers record each course in the language they teach in, and the academy runs in Uzbek, English, Russian and Arabic, so a student can learn in the language they read best.
